Who We Are

Partners in Rehab Medicine is the largest medical group dedicated exclusively to the practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Kansas City metro-area and the state of Kansas. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is also called Physiatry. As physiatrists we specialize in the evaluation and non-surgical treatment of conditions that cause impairment, disability or pain.

We treat adults and older teenagers in both hospital and outpatient settings. Our focus is on improving functionality and quality of life, whether through increased independence in mobility and personal care, improvement in medical effects of disabling conditions or reduction in pain. We believe in a team-based approach starting with the patient and physician, and then incorporating therapists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, family members and other caregivers as needs arise to achieve the highest possible outcome.
