Christina received her Bachelors and Master’s in Nursing degrees from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She has more than a decade of nursing experience in different healthcare settings including critical care, cardiology, and rehabilitation.
Christina sees patients in the acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting. Her focus is assessing patient needs for rehabilitation and developing treatment plans with a multidisciplinary team to assist the patient in their road to recovery.
“I enjoy getting to know patients and their families over the time they spend rehabilitating. It brings me great joy in seeing how patient’s progress over time and to see how far they have come in overcoming and adapting to disabilities, impairments, or injuries. I love the team aspect of rehab in helping patients restore independence, function, and quality of life! Rehabilitation Medicine is challenging, rewarding, and exciting.”
When not working, Christina enjoys spending time with her family. She and her family enjoy travelling, hiking, camping, or hanging out at the beach. She can also be found watching her kids’ sports activities and baking.
